The OHS Wind Symphony is the elite symphonic group at Orem High School. Filled by audition, it is primarily comprised of Juniors and Senior who have developed a high level of mastery on their instruments. The Wind Symphony performs Grade 4 & 5 literature, and has received Superior Ratings at Regional and State Festivals. Under the direction of Curtis Winters, the OHS Wind Symphony explores music by the great wind band composers of the last century, including John Phillip Sousa, Gustav Holst, Percy Grainger, and Clifton Williams, along with more recent composers such as Frank Tichelli and Jacob de Haan.
